Discover the Kitchen Garden with its dipping pond and lean-to greenhouse and wander through the pleasure grounds to the Wilderness Pond and Deerpark Wood.
The gardens were updated to the fashionable picturesque style in the late 18th and early 19th century by Colonel Chichester. His aim was for visitors to feel they had entered a picture and delight in the framed views of the gardens with the emphasis on light and shade and informal and formal.
Visit the Carriage Museum with its important collection of carriages.
