Don’t miss the Arboretum with 700 species of trees.

And in the Spring, visit the magnificent Woodland Garden with its superb collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and bluebells. This is separate from the main garden – see the website for details.

Bowood is home to the 9th Marquis of Lansdowne.

For Children aged 12 and under, there’s an amazing Adventure Playground which includes a 19ft vertical drop Space Dive and a Pirate Ship.
