Bwlch y Geuffordd Gardens
The garden is rich in wildlife, with children encouraged to connect with nature via pond dipping. It’s an appreciation of water, stone, and wood, an enthusiasm for plants and creativity, and for the wildlife who share this place. It is full of magic, is peaceful and inspiring, a bit quirky, with surprises around every turn. There are several unique garden buildings in which to pause, and numerous seats from which to enjoy the various views. It is a water garden, an adventure and fantasy garden for children, and sculpture park, with luscious plantings throughout, and a great day out for all ages
The garden was short listed for Welsh Garden of the Year 2016 in Wales on Line, joint runner up of ‘Garden of the Year’, category ‘Challenging Plot’ in Gardeners’ World magazine 2017. It was featured on ITV’s Love Your Garden, 2020, and S4C’s Pobl a’u Gerddi 2017.
The gardens are open daily from 10.00am.
There’s no cafe although visitors are welcome to bring a picnic. And Gay and Jim are happy to provide drinks – and freshly baked cakes, but please let them know of your order in advance!
