The Jacobean house is surrounded by 12 acres of garden including topiary and terraced lawns.
East of the house lie Pan Garden, the Croquet Lawn and the stunning curvy-edged herbaceous borders which lead to the Lily Pond.
Near the house is the newly designed Rose Garden planted with a mixture of roses and herbaceous plants.
The Italian Garden is a perfect place to sit with roses and clematis tumbling over the walls, subdued plantings of silver, blue and green surrounding a rectangular pond.
Don’t miss the Walled Garden with Fern House, Alpine House and newly constructed Ornamental Greenhouse. There are beds of cutting flowers, vegetables, espaliered fruit trees and a spectacular delphinium border.
