Great Comp Garden

Great Comp Garden near Sevenoaks is a 17th century manor house surrounded by seven acres of gardens. Lots to explore including an Italian Garden, romantic ruins and woodland walks.

In spring, the garden bursts into life with magnolias, azaleas, and rhododendrons with drifts of hellebores and spring bulbs. During the summer, enjoy the colourful borders with dahlias, crocosmias and ornamental grasses as well as one of the most diverse collection of Salvias in Europe.

William Dyson is the Curator at Great Comp and also has his own nursery specialising in Salvias within the gardens.

Great Comp has the National Plant Collection of rosemary.

Wheelchairs can access the majority of the garden but not the peripheral woodland walks.

RHS Partner garden – members get free access to Great Comp in September and October
