The glorious award-winning gardens are set in 125 acres and are of interest throughout the year.
Wander through the Italian Gardens which are filled with classical statuary and lead to the Loggia. Inspired by the Trevi Fountain in Rome, sit and relax while overlooking the 38 acre lake.
The Rose Garden is planted with over 4,000 bushes and is spectacular in June.
Explore the Tudor Garden, Anne Boleyn’s Walk or the Rhododendron Walk in Spring. There’s also the recently replanted herbaceous border and Sunday Walk and Church Gill Walk.
There are lots of water features including Half Moon Pond, the Cascade, grottoes and the less formal Two Sisters’ Pond.
Don’t miss the Millenium Fountain on Sixteen Acre Island or the Water Maze – but be prepared to get wet!
