Knightshayes
Walk along the Terrace with its herbaceous borders and enjoy the spectacular views over the park towards Tiverton and the Heathcote Amory’s factory.
The Paved Garden and the Pool Garden are two formal gardens divided by yew hedges.
Stone steps lead to the Garden in the Wood. Wander through the Arboretum and Michael’s Wood with its magnificent display of magnolias, rhododendrons and bluebells in the Spring.
Sir John’s Wood contains main rare plants from across the world. There are over 1200 plant species unique to Knightshayes.
Don’t miss the two and a half acre walled kitchen garden which is filled with fruit and vegetables, many of them heritage varieties.
National Trust members visit for free.
