Meandering paths lead past the Ruined Abbey to the Chinese Bridge Peninsula – don’t miss the Gothic Temple on your right and the magnificent views over the lake.
The Crystal Grotto is made from 10,000 crystals and was described by a visitor in the 18th century as ‘the finest of its type ever built’.
Discover the Mausoleum, Temple of Bacchus and the Hermitage before climbing up to the top of the Gothic Tower. On a clear day you can see Canary Wharf and Windsor Castle.
Walk back via the Turkish Tent and appreciate the Grotto from the other side of the lake.
