Plas yn Rhiw

As winter ends, enjoy the snowdrops followed by the magnificent bluebells and primroses in the upper woodland and around the millpond.

In late Spring, the daffodils and tulips are joined by rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias. Lots of varieties including the vanilla-scented Azara microphylla with its deep yellow flowers.

In the summer, enjoy the herbaceous borders as well as the wildflower meadow at the back of the house which comes alive with insects.

The orchard has numerous varieties of fruit trees, all native to Wales.

There’s lots for families to do including nature spotter and pollinator sheets.
