Rufford Old Hall

In Spring, the woodland areas have a wonderful display of rhododendrons and azaleas.

The Walled Garden is filled with roses and peonies.

Explore the North Woods, Beech Walk Paddock and the Orchard which has several old varieties of apple.

Don’t miss the herbaceous borders or the Squirrel Border with its giant topiary.

If you have time, visit the Hall with the magnificent wooden screen, allegedly carved in honour of Anne Boleyn.

The gardens and house at Rufford Old Hall are open from Friday until Tuesday.

National Trust members visit for free.
