Waterperry Gardens
Explore 8 acres of wonderful ornamental gardens.
Filled with herbaceous perennials, the Herbaceous Border is a burst of colour from May until the first frosts in late October, early November.
The Formal Garden is Waterperry’s Silent Space – a place for silent reflection in our busy world. Based on a Tudor knot garden, the design includes box hedging and herbs for medicinal and culinary use.
Unlike the Herbaceous Border, the Long Walk includes shrubs and bulbs to give year round colour. Plants include Callicarpa ‘Profusion’ and a collection of Buddleia, dahlias and rudbeckias.
There’s lots more to see including the Mary Rose Garden, Allotment Garden and Contemporary Border.
Don’t miss the Riverside Walk. Stroll along the Thame and enjoy Snowdrops and Aconites in February, followed by Daffodils, Primroses and Narcissi and in April, Fritillaries.
Waterperry is a RHS Partner Garden with members having free access on one day a week, usually every Friday – check the website for details.
